
About Her
Bruna is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and movement teacher from São Paulo, Brazil. She began her ballet studies at the São Paulo School of Dance, where she graduated in 2014 after 9 years of training in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, and Modern Dance. In 2013, Bruna performed in La Traviata, an opera by Giuseppe Verdi choreographed by Simona Bucci, at the main theatre in São Paulo. She also performed at Virada Cultural, a 24-hour cultural festival celebrating music, dance, and the arts. In 2014, she interned with the Sopro Dance Company, contributing to their creative process. In 2019, she completed her Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching at the Australian Learning Group in Melbourne. Bruna has taught Contemporary Dance at Sharee Skye Dance Centre, Promenade Dance Studio, and AMMA Dance Studio in Brisbane.
As a performer and choreographer, Bruna has worked with Phluxus Dance Collective, showcasing her work at renowned venues including The Tivoli, Princess Theatre, and the Thomas Dixon Centre in Brisbane. In 2022, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teaching Certification at Ritual & Pilates Studio in the Gold Coast, and has also taught at Danielle’s Dance Studio, participating in Eisteddfods across Queensland.
Bruna currently teaches body consciousness classes at the Palm Beach Cultural Centre. Her work is driven by a passion for movement and a desire to support people from all backgrounds—yogis, surfers, artists, and anyone curious about reconnecting with their bodies. Her classes aim to improve body awareness, mobility, and presence in daily activities through inclusive and mindful movement.
